Episode 125: 4 Organizing Myths Keeping Your Home (and Brain) Cluttered

staying organized as a working mom

ITUNES | SPOTIFY

What if getting organized has nothing to do with buying the perfect bins and is simply knowing what you have and being able to find it when you need it. That's it. No new containers required.

I sat down with Tracy Hoth, founder of The Organized Coach and Organized Life Academy, to talk about organizing your calendar, how to sort before decluttering, and what to do when you're paralyzed by a space that's been cluttered for years.

We get into her SPACE method, the real reason containers should be your last step instead of your first, and how asking what feeling you want a space to hold can guide every decision you make in it.

This episode gave me language for something I already believed: staying organized is ongoing, not a one-time fix. I'm walking away ready to treat my own cluttered spaces as projects instead of proof that I'm failing, and I'll be setting a 15-minute timer this week to prove it to myself. I bet you'll be ready to join me too by the end of this episode!
