Episode 123: I Tried 'Brick' to Break My Phone Habit. Here's What Changed.

ITUNES | SPOTIFY

I tried Brick, the little device that physically locks you out of your phone apps until you walk over and tap back in, and I'm sharing exactly what happened. This isn't sponsored and I'm not trying to sell you something. It's just my honest experience after a few months of using it to break habits I didn't love: scrolling in bed after my alarm went off, disappearing into my phone during the 5-8pm family window, and reaching for it during my most focused work hours.

If despite your best efforts you are still on your phone more than you'd like, this episode will help you zero in on the real issue, identify what it's costing you, and then think about potential solutions that will help you spend more time in your real life and less time on your phone. Whether or not you use the Brick is totally up to you. But I'm walking you through what I learned so you can decide if it's worth trying for yourself.
