How to Make It Work as a Working Mom

You knew your life would change, but you had no idea it would change THIS much.

Your life went from familiar to exhausting and there's no end in sight.

Before you became a mom, everyone told you how beautiful and wonderful motherhood was. You assumed that caring for and bonding with your baby would fit easily into your life and that you'd effortlessly manage family, career, house, and everything else.

But instead of managing it all, you're lucky if you remember to brush your teeth!

From meetings and emails at work to laundry and cooking at home, you move from task to task on your endless to-do list, feeling like you're barely keeping it together. And at the end of the day, you crash into bed exhausted and drained.

Sure, you thought motherhood would have its challenges, but you never thought it'd be so overwhelming. Outside of being a mom, a professional, and a wife you're not really sure who you are anymore.

And on more than one occasion, you've found yourself missing how easy things used to be.

I promise you're not alone. This used to be me too.

You're ready to hit your stride with this new life - hanging on to the best of you and loving being a mom too. You're ready to enjoy life!

You're ready to stop feeling like you're failing at everything - at work, at mothering, at marriage - and start feeling like you're doing everything exactly as you want to be.

How would it feel to...

  • Stop feeling guilty - when you're at work, when you're with your baby - and start feeling like you're doing a good job?

  • Have more energy to tackle everything that comes with being a working mom and still make an impact at work, at home and for yourself?

  • Come home, spend time with your little one and not worry about work or chores or to-do lists?

  • Show your kids what it looks like to take care of yourself and to have interests and passions of your own?

  • To have time each day to do something that you WANT to do instead of only what you HAVE to do?

Sound impossible? It's not.

I help new moms just returning to work who feel that motherhood has consumed their identity. They're stressed, tired and overwhelmed from juggling it all and find that at the end of the day they have nothing left for themselves.

I'll help you get your priorities straight, make life more simple and be able to find time for yourself so you can start enjoying life again.

After this coaching program, you will:

  • Be able to identify what's important to you and what brings you joy so that you can spend more time doing exactly that.

  • Learn what you can do right now to move toward simplifying your day-to-day responsibilities of motherhood so you can find more time for your priorities.

  • Start enjoying time for yourself instead of feeling guilty that you should be either working or spending time with your little one.

  • Learn how to incorporate some of your old interests into your new life as a mom.

How to Make It Work as a Working Mom

Your coaching package includes:

The Working Mom Workbook
You'll receive a fun workbook with questions, ideas and visuals to get you thinking about your priorities, what you enjoy, and what self-care practices you'd LIKE to have so that we can make the most of our time together on the coaching call. Worried that it'll be just one more thing on your to-do list? Don't be. You can work through it at your own pace...while your guilty pleasure tv show is playing in the background, while you're pumping or while you're taking a quick lunch break. Taking this time, I promise, will give you energy and motivation to come to our call ready to make some amazing changes.

Working Mom - Working Session
In this 75-minute coaching session, we'll go through your workbook and take the time to understand what life currently looks like for you and what needs to change. We'll then agree on what your top priorities are and develop a plan full of little changes that'll have a big impact on your working mom life. You'll walk away feeling empowered and energized and with a better understanding of what's truly important to you and how you can incorporate those moments and activities into your every day.

Self-care Resources
You'll receive a recording of our coaching call to refer back to when you need a reminder of why taking time for yourself is so important and a customized list of resources and self-care ideas to reference as you start making daily changes in your life.

Follow-up Session
After three weeks of focusing on your priorities and on making time for yourself, we'll meet again for a 30-minute follow-up session. We'll celebrate your successes, discuss any potential hurdles and make adjustments as needed so you have everything that you need to make a habit of focusing on your priorities and making time for yourself.

You'll have taken the time, not only for yourself but for your little one as well because you're the only one who can give them a happy mom. And isn't it time to start loving life again?

Coaching with Katelyn feels so comfortable and friendly because she can relate to what we, as new moms, are going through. TOGETHER, we evaluated and brainstormed in a non-judgemental and welcoming way.  I walked away with more self-awareness; self-awareness of my emotions, my time and of what ‘fills up my cup’.
